What is StartupOS
StartupOS is the web platform for the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH), a programme of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. It runs the programme for startup founders across a hub-and-spoke network: the Hub at Amaravati and five spokes (Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Tirupati and Anantapur). Each spoke is a separate tenant in one shared platform.
The platform has two product modules:
- LMM covers the programme lifecycle: founder and mentor profiles, mentor matching, milestones, cohorts, graduation and analytics.
- LMS covers structured learning: courses, lessons with video, quizzes, assignments, live classes with automatic recording, and certificates.
The frontend is a Next.js 14 application. The backend is eight Quarkus services on Java 21. Sign-in is handled by Keycloak, which runs in the same Kubernetes cluster. Everything runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in the Hyderabad region (ap-hyderabad-1).
Where to go next
- Roles lists the five kinds of user and what each can reach.
- System context shows the system and its neighbours on one diagram.
- Architecture explains the parts and how they connect.
- Security model explains how access is enforced.
- API holds the reference for every service.
What this site covers
This site documents what is built and running. Where a design exists but is not built, the page says so and links to the design. Two examples are the certificate lifecycle and the mobile apps.
