System context

The diagram shows who uses StartupOS and which outside systems it depends on. It is exported from the Structurizr model in docs-site/architecture/workspace.dsl. The same model produces every C4 diagram on this site.

System context. Founders, mentors, spoke coordinators, the CM Office and administrators use the StartupOS web app. A certificate verifier with no account opens certificate links served by the LMS service. StartupOS stores lesson video and class recordings in OCI Object Storage.

Reading the diagram

• Five roles sign in to the web app. They never call the services directly in normal use. The browser calls the same host that served the page.
• A certificate verifier has no account. The LMS service serves certificate verify, PDF and QR links without a credential. See Public paths.
• Video and recordings are held in one OCI Object Storage bucket, reached through its S3-compatible API.
